What if UrbanDictionary.com was an actual printed dictionary? UrbDic is a translation contrast serif typeface, intended for dictionaries and other tiny text formats. It has an overall low contrast, and short ascenders and descenders, which allows it to fit more text on the page. It also has a variety of weights and styles. UrbDic is both traditional and contemporary, with sharp edges, as if it is drawn with a Sharpie, but also has a classic touch about it. It is good for small text sizes (7-9 pt) but also works great in titles (20-24 pt). It is perfectly suitable for use in magazines, fanzines, posters, and other formats.

Urban Dictionary is a website that anyone can access. More made for teens, urban dictionary is a place to go to find the definition of slang words and phrases. Anyone can post a word and definition on Urban Dictionary without any resources. Therefore don't trust what you read on this site. This site has over 4.85 million definitions that are rated by people who visit. It was created in 1999 by Aaron Peckham when he was a freshman studying computer science at California Polytechnic State University. I personally enjoy the site because it gives me a good laugh. Some of the things people write are ridiculous. Key concept 5 is shown here- all media messages are subjective and contain values, lifestyles and points of view. The things posted on the website are posted based on someone's values and what that specific word or phrase means to them. By reading theses definitions, you are experiencing what that person thinks about the word and what it means to them. (Father:) "He just sent me a text saying wtf?! What does that mean?" (Kid:) "Look it up on Urban Dictionary grandpa."

A glitch is a small, often almost indescribable thing: a paperclip, a thinger, a piece of snack food like a Dorito chip that can even stand in for a whole plate or container of snacks when used in the plural. It is a wonderfully flexible thinking word for moments when the real name escapes you, the classic what-cha-ma-call-it or thing-a-ma-bob. Someone needing a paper clip might ask a coworker for a glitch, just as easily as someone on the couch might request a glitch from the snack bowl. You might drop a glitch on the floor, serve glitches while watching TV, or ask for extra glitch on your glitches when ordering nachos, since even the melted cheese can earn the name. Glitches can also mean appetisers when heading out to eat. Pets might leave a glitch on the floor, whether a piece of dry cat food, a stray treat, or something far less charming. To be glitched-out is to have eaten too much of something small and addictive, like chips or candy. You can share them with a playful line like a glitch for you, a glitch for me when passing Raisinets at the movies, though popcorn never quite qualifies for the term because of its oily texture.

To quack is to perform an act that shows stupidity, lack of coordination, incoherence, or a simple inability to relate or adapt in a social setting, taken from the sound a duck makes and used as a verb describing what a duck does. It can also mean to fuck up the situation for everybody. You missed the biggest quack, when someone ran down the hill, tripped, and busted ass all over the sidewalk and fence by the tennis courts. A birthday can be fun as shit, everyone getting fucked up, and then someone quacking ridiculously by hitting the blunt backwards without even noticing for a couple of seconds before getting up, sliding down a hill, and losing their keys, proving once again what a total quack they are. Even dropping an entire pizza on the ground earns a you're so quackin.
