Growing up in the 1980s, my idea of the future was shaped by the analog, apocalyptic worlds of films like Star Wars, Alien, and Back to the Future. Although I consciously tried to move away from that imagery, I still wanted to preserve its raw essence in the typeface. The result is a deliberately imperfect and unsettling font: bold, broken, and uneven. A central challenge was finding the right balance between individual letterforms and the overall texture of the typeface. The process involved digitizing, cutting, scanning, and reintegrating the letters, while carefully maintaining the bulky, raw qualities they had in my sketchbook. Mentored by Marie Lusa.
